Michele Sellers Allard, MSPT co-owner 

Michele Allard is a Physical Therapist and co-cwner of Momentum Physical Therapy. Michele brings 18 years of experience to the Gainesville/Haymarket/Manassas area. 

A Virginia native, Michele obtained a B.S. degree in Nutrition and Exercise Science with a minor in Chemistry from Virginia Tech in 1998. In 2001, Michele graduated from N.V.C.C. with an A.A.S degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant. In 2006, Michele returned to schooland graduated summa cum laude with a Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Neumann University in Aston, PA. 

Michele treats patients of all ages. Whether it's pain reduction, improving strength or meeting fitness goals. Michele enjoys getting her patients to maximize their full potential and improve their quality of life.  She has a strong interest in Spinal and Orthopedic Physical Therapy to include post-surgical rehabilitation and concussion management. She is certified in Dry Needling. She is also a Clinical Instructor for student therapists from Northern Virginia Community College and Marymount University. 

Michele likes spending time with her husband and their two children. She enjoys skiing, family beach trips, and going to Virginia Tech vs UVA Football games with Jenny. GO HOKIES!


Jenny Heilman, DPT, CLT  co-owner

Jenny Heilman is a Prince William County native and has provided care in our region for 16+ years. After graduating from the University of Virginia in 1999, she received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree in 2003 from The Medical College of Virginia at VCU.  While treating bone and joint problems, sports injuries, and neurological cases, she has continued to treat her favorite population—children. While at MCV, Jenny took a pediatric P.T. module and had an affiliation working in Stafford Co. Public School System. She continues to treat children with cerebral palsy, spina bifida, muscular dystrophy and patients with torticollis as young as 2 weeks of age. Jenny is a Clinical Instructor for Marymount University and works with students from George Mason's Athletic Training Program. 

Outside of work, Jenny’s favorite activities include soccer, running, skiing, and watching football—GO HOOS! GO SKINS!

Ellen Flynn, LPTA
Ellen is a Physical Therapist Assistant, a summa cum laude graduate.  As a therapist, she believes in educating people in how their bodies work and how to get the best for them over the long term. Ellen has a strong interest in gait, postural alignment, scoliosis and foot and ankle. She has taken several Movement System Impairment courses, Selective Functional Movement Assessment training and has received a certification from the International Foot and Gait Education Council in Ankle and Foot Mechanics. In addition to outpatient care, Ellen has worked in hospital and assisted living settings.

She is an avid horseback rider and Virginia foxhunter.

Jessica DaSilva, LPTA, 
Jessica received her Associate of Applied Science Degree with a major in Physical Therapist Assistant from Northern Virginia Community College in May of 2011.  Jessica discovered her passion for exercise and its integral role in promoting health and happiness.  This passion is what led her to return to school in order to become a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant.  Jessica first joined Momentum as a student through her final clinical rotation with N.V.C.C. and was invited to join the practice upon graduating.  She joyfully accepted that offer, and has since continued her education with a Manual Lymph Drainage certification.  Jessica and her family reside in Warrenton, VA,

Alexander Blackstone, LPTA, Impact Certified Concussion Specialist 

Alex Blackstone is a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant who has been a member of our team since 2016.  His areas of interest are manual therapy, Instrument Assisted Manual Therapy, Strength and Conditioning and Post Concussion Management.  He is an IASTM STMT-1 certified therapist as well as a Impact Certified practitioner. Alex is a Clinical Instructor for N.V.C.C. Physical Therapist Assistant Program. 

 Marcell Harris, LPTA, Impact Certified Concussion Specialist 

Marcell received his A.A.S. Physical Therapist Assistant degree from South University, Savannah Ga in March of 2017. Marcell, a former Marine, served following high school in July 2005 and was honorably discharged after serving 8 years on active duty. He graduated boot camp from Paris Island, SC and attended Personnel Administration School. He was deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom to Al Asad, Iraq in 2008. His personal awards include the Navy and Marine Corp Achievement Medal, Iraqi Campaign Medal, Good Conduct Medal and several unit and service awards. While on active duty, he was a personal trainer promoting good health and helping others achieve their fitness goals. Marcell's physical therapy career began with CORA Physical Therapy in Georgia before moving to Virginia.

He enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters and their dog, Goku. His hobbies include sports, shopping and trying new restaurants. 

 Sharon Nord, MSPT, BS

Sharon graduated in 2005 from Brunel University in London with a first class honors degree in Physiotherapy. She worked in both Ireland and the UK prior to moving to the US in 2007. She has always loved outpatient physical therapy and enjoys the variety it brings. Through her practice she developed an interest in pain and its management. This lead her to complete a Masters degree in Clinical Pain Management from the University of Edinburgh. She incorporates manual therapy, exercise and dry needling to facilitate function and recovery for her patients. She loves to come to work every day!
